Assam: Bongaigaon-Guwahati passenger derails near Guwahati
The accident took place after 4 bogies of the Bongaigaon-Guwahati Chilarai passenger train derailed after ramming into a vehicle stuck on the track, said railway sources.
The injured were rushed to the Mirza Public Health Centre from where those serious were referred to the Gauhati Medical College Hospital, said police.
Meanwhile, rescue teams have been rushed to the spot and operations are underway.
