Bangalore: Infant found abandoned in carton box

Bangalore, Feb 1: As the nation is recovering from the shock of the torment 2-year-old baby Falak had to undergo, another infant was found abandoned in a carton box by rag pickers in Bangalore.

The infant was taken to hospital after the police was alerted about it.

The baby's condition is said to be stable, while police is on a hunt for any witness who have seen anyone dumping the baby in the garbage pile.

Reports reveal that the baby is believed to be six-days-old.

Another infant was found abandoned on a train in West Bengal on Wednesday. The infant was admitted to a hospital in Asansol after being handed over to the Railway police.
