IT major Infosys to train 100 engg J-K youths every year

The students will be trained on advanced Information Technology enabled services.
Chidambaram further said that the Approval Committee of Special Industry Initiatives (SII) in Jammu and Kashmir on Jan 11, approved the proposal of Infosys to train Master of Computer Application students and engineering students in a year.
"Proposals of Future Group, Tata Consultancy Service (TCS), Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and Infosys Ltd to train 3,100 candidates under SII J-K have been approved so far," said Chidambaram.
The proposal holds significance as various quarters since long have been demanding that the thousands unemployed in the valley be given training related to advanced Information Technology enabled services.
