Bhanwari Devi's children threatened by goons;seek protection

Rajasthan, Jan 28: Slain auxiliary nurse, Bhanwari Devi's children claim that they are being threatned by unidentified goons.

Sahil, Bhanwari Devi's 18-year-old son said in a letter to the CBI that five masked people entered their house located in Borunda town, Rajasthan and threatned him. He further said that the men hurled obscenities at him and his siblings and were seen loitering around in the vicinity even after they left.

He requested that the CBI provide security to his two sisters and his grandmother as he often summoned to Jodhpur in connection with the investigation into his mother's death.

Police personnel were deployed outside their residence after their mother's abduction but they were later removed after the case was solved.

The police however, said that they were keeping a eye on the house and the station was close to a police outpost, said BL Sirvi, police officer, Bilara.

The Bhanwari Devi case wrecked the Rajasthan government after her alleged abuction suspected to be over a sex-cd with sacked water resources minister, Mahipal Maderna.
