Ill Anna to be taken to Medanta Hospital, Gurgaon

New Delhi, Jan 29: Anti-corruption activist Anna Hazare will be admitted to Medanta Hospital in Gurgaon due to ill health, said an aide on Sunday.

"Because of the hard antibiotics that were being administered to him, Anna ji has had some side effects," the aide told presspersons.

"He will stay in Medanta for two days, and then will be shifted to Jindal Naturecare Institute of Bangalore," he added.

Anna has been ill from the last month after Team Anna conducted a fast in Mumbai. Pune's Sancheti hospital had discharged him on Jan 8 and recommended a month's rest.
