Children to be returned to Norway NRI couple after 7 months

New Delhi, Jan 25: After the heart wrenching wait for the children of the Norway based Indian NRI couple who were taken away by childcare workers in Norway, the case is finally coming to a closure. The Norway authorities have taken into consideration the Foreign Minister SM Krishna's proposal in the case.

It has been reported that the Norway government has accepted the Ministry of External Affairs' proposal. They have sought a written proposal from the MEA. Sources have claimed that an out-of-court settlement will be arrived at to enable the children to be returned to their parents.

The Bengali parents, Anurup Bhattacharya and Sagarika Chakraborthy is understood to be overjoyed by the news. The Norway authorities took such an extreme step after they came to know that the couple fed their children with their hands and their kids slept with them which annoyed the childcare service officials.
