SM Krishna
New Delhi, Jan 24: External Affairs Minister SM Krishna on Tuesday, Jan 24 moved the Supreme court against Karnataka High Court's order rejecting to stall the Lokayukta police's probe against him.

The Lok Ayukta Police had registered an FIR against Krishna, who was the chief minister from 1999 to 2004, and his successors N Dharam Singh, JD(S) chief HD Kumaraswamy and 11 officials. Meanwhile, Krishna has been accused of allowing a land for mining which was actually allocated for forest.

Earlier, on Jan 20 , the High Court rejected the Krishna's petition seeking quashing of the private complaint accusing him of facilitating illegal mining during his chief ministership and claimed that the Lokayukta can proceed with their investigation on Krishna.
