Cong men moan over ticket to Lalu's daughter's future in-law

New Delhi, Jan 24: The removal of Youth Congress leader and party nominee from Uttar Pradesh's Sikandarabad seat who has been replaced by Jitendra Yadav, whose son is all set to tie the knot with RJD chief Lalu Prasad's daughter has left the party men resenting.

Nizam Malik, former YC President from Bulandshahar was replaced by Yadav trigerring a near revolt in the Youth Congress workers in the state.

The Members of the Youth Congress were seen protesting outside the AICC headquarters in Uttar Pradesh after Yadav was given the ticket.

The whole issue was however, played down by Abhishek Singhvi, the party spokesperson who said that these were ususal since election is soon approaching.

"Youth ka yeh apmaan, nahin sahega Hindustan", "Dal badloo netaon ka sammaan, party karyakarta ka apmaan (India won't tolerate insult of the youth, honouring defectors means insulting party workers)", read the placards and slogans shouted by the youth.
