Punjab makes 'hit' ipad accessories for the world!

Chandigarh, Jan 23: Punjab made accessories of the popular gadget 'iPad' including its covers and cases which are becoming a huge hit worldwide. The ipad accessories are being made by the women belonging to rural areas of Punjab.

Meanwhile, a group of women, who are not even aware about the existence of a gadget like 'iPad' are creditworthy for making its cases and covers. The ‘iPad’ covers and cases being made by them are priced between Rs 15-35.

The appealing ipad covers and cases are currently becoming famous worldwide as the products are sold to the customers from Australia, Canada and United States of America.

The women are currently working under the international NGO DIRI and through this, rural women earn bread and butter for their family. Moreover, women are also creditworthy for making bottle covers for branded wines and those products also have attracted a large number of international buyers.
