Rahul Gandhi
Uttar Pradesh, Jan 22: AICC General Secretary Rahul Gandhi on Saturday, Jan 21 was shown black flags by two youths, who shouted slogans of corruption against the Congress leader while he was addressing a rally in Duddhi, Sonbhadra.

The duo were beaten up after that by some people attending the Adivasi Sashaktikaran Dhanyawad rally.

Ajay Kumar Singh, one of the youths has been detained by the police, who is alleged to be the supporter of Baba Ramdev.

Earlier the AICC General Secretary during a rally in Banda had to end his speech after some youths protested with posters and banners demanding that the black money hoarded abroad be brought back to the country.

Meanwhile, Rahul Gandhi in his usual style lambasted Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Mayawati of being negligent towards the tribals. He further accused her of not implementing the schemes properly.

"We brought a bill to ensure that tribals get right of their land but it was not implemented properly in the state," the Congress leader said.
