PMO website still shows Harish Khare as media Adviser

New Delhi, Jan 22: The television journalist Pankaj Pachauri was appointed as Communication Advisor of Prime Minister Office (PMO) on Jan 19, but the

still showing name of Harish Khare, the former media Advisor to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.

65-year-old Khare, formerly a senior journalist with The Hindu, who was appointed Media Advisor to PM Manmohan Singh in Jun, 2009, submitted his resignation hours after television journalist Pankaj Pachauri was appointed as Communication Advisor in the PMO on Jan 19, 2012.

Pachauri, who was a journalist with NDTV India, was appointed as a new Media advisor to PMO to create a nucleus for better communication of Prime Minister's views and image.
