Team Anna join forces with Ramdev to campaign in U'khand

The invite was extended by Team Anna to Ramdev to campaign in Uttarakhand that will go to the polls on Jan 30. Team Anna made the decision considering that Baba Ramdev has a huge fan base in Uttarakhand.
Ramdev also being an anti-corruption campaigner, will help Team Anna's cause and lend power to their voice for a strong Lokpal Bill. The added fact that it will cause a dent in the image of the Congress and emerge beneficial to the BJP is almost certain. The BJP is banking heavily on Uttarakhand CM BC Khanduri's clean image to gather political brownie points.
Team Anna had earlier praised Khanduri's effort to pass a strong Lokayukta Bill and had called it close to the proposed Jan Lokpal Bill. Khanduri has been quoted as saying, "The central government is not keen on bringing the Lokpal bill. I am sure that during its campaign, Team Anna will give credit to BJP in the state for bringing the anti-graft law. I supported Anna Hazare's cause."
