Mumbai: Bollywood Actress with teens rob TV executive

Mumbai, Jan 19: A Television executive, 36-year-old Govind Das was robbed at broad daylight in Mumbai on Monday, Jan 16. However, police nabbed some of the members of the gang on Wednesday, though the cops failed to nab one of the main accused who is a film (Bollywood) actress.

The crime branch arrested six teenagers along with another man, who has been identified as Vijay Tiwari. According to sources, Vijay was calling the victim regularly requesting for job.

On Monday, Govind was returning to his home and he stopped his car in the mid-way after seeing Vijay. When the victim went to meet the accused, he (Vijay) pushed him (Govind) into a car where the actress along with few teenagers were seated. The gang then snatched Rs Rs 89,000 in cash, gold rings and two mobile phones. Later they tried to withdraw money from Govind's ATM, but failed. Later the gang left Govind abandoned on a highway.

After taking Vijay along with other teenagers under custody, Crime Branch handed them over to Vanrai police. Search for the actress is still on and sources reported that she had worked in a film, though information regarding her identification has not yet been revealed to media.
