Mumbai: Neighbours recount living with 13/7 terrorists

"It’s very shocking. We never thought they were terrorists. They never used to talk to anyone, and would always remain aloof," said Rubina, who lives in the opposite building.
"In December, they said that they were going to Delhi to visit a friend, and never returned."
Residents also said that a third person visited the duo, Bakas and Tavrez on a regular basis. They however, said that they did not know if the man was Yasin Bhatkal, Indian Mujahideen operative.
Report reveal that the two left in a hurry in Dec and did not even bother to take back the deposit.
"The landlady charged them Rs 8,000 a month, but there was no paperwork. The place was rented on verbal agreement,"said Nadeem, who lives in Habib Mansion.
The escaping of the trio and the terror blasts highlights the huge security lapse in the country.
