Under the relief package, Sahil, Bhanwari's son will be enrolled as a junior division clerk in the state service, said a government official.
Gungun and Ashwini, the daughters of Bhanwari will each have a fixed deposit of Rs 2 lakh and the maturity amount would be handed over to them at the time of their marriage, he said. Apart from the fixed deposit, Rs 50,000 will also be given as cash in a bid to assist them in their marriage.
The package also includes free lodging and boarding to the children if they wished to stay in a hostel run by the Social Justice and Empowerment department.
The official further said that each child would be given Rs 675 under the Palanhar Scheme apart from an additional annual assistance of Rs 2,000 each.
The Rajasthan government also assured help to the children for pursuing their studies in any school or college of their choice.
The Maharashtra Police, Rajasthan Police and the CBI on Jan 13 announced a relief of Rs 1.5 lakh to Bhanwari's family. Bhanwari Devi was killed on Sept 1, the same day she was abducted at the behest of Mahipal Maderna, sacked Water Resources Minister, who is alleged to have featured with Bhanwari in a sex CD.
The government is also taking efforts to speed up the process of settling Bhanwari's pension, so as to provide relief to her family.
