Rag-picker helps avert Rajdhani Express mishap
The boy spotted the crack in the railway track and immediately alerted railway authorities, said reports. The crack was discovered just few minutes before Patna-Delhi Rajdhani Express was scheduled to arrive on the same track.
After investigating the boy's claim, the electric signal maintainers and railway staff gave an emergency signal to the Express asking the driver to slow down the train.
The train remained stalled for around an hour till the repairing got over. Meanwhile, railway officials played down the child's bluster saying such cracks are usually developed with weather change.
