New Dehi, Jan 14: Tempestuous over yoga guru Baba Ramdev's comment that the 2008 Batla House shootout was not fake, a protester threw black ink when he was carrying out a press conference in New Delhi, on Saturday, Jan 14. Baba Ramdev told media persons that, his assistants have told him that a bottle of acid and a walkie talkie was found with the assailant.

Meanwhile, Congress, RJD and main opposition party Bharatiya Janata Party strongly condemned the ink-throwing act on popular yoga guru Baba Ramdev. In Patna, RJD chief Lalu Prasad condemned the act saying the "unfortunate" man has done a wrong thing.

Meanwhile, Swami Ram Ramdev rejected any link with Balta House case on Saturaday, Jan 14 incident saying whatever happened today(Jan 14) was a conspiracy.

Reacting to Congress general secretary Digvijay Singh's remarks that he was not a swami but a businessman, Ramdev said, "I don't need a character certificate from a person who lacks character."

The attacker has been identified as Kamran Siddiqui, a resident of Delhi who is said to be running an NGO named 'Real Cause'. Sources said that, he had filed a complaint with National Human Rights Commission in 2008 challenging the Batla House encounter. He has been detained by police.
