Assembly Elections: Salman Khan to campaign for Congress

Lucknow, Jan 13: Bollywood superstar Salman Khan will reportedly campaign for Congress, said reports.

Reports reveal that Congress has already cashed in star power in a bid to woo voters. The decision was declared at Congress core committee meet in Agra.

The list submitted by Congress for campaign includes the likes of Congress President Sonia Gandhi, AICC General Secretary Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi and Bollywood heartthrob Salman Khan.

Apart from Salman Khan, actor Raza Murad will campaign for Congress, while Congress MP Raj Babbar, will campaign for hopeful candidates.

Meanwhile, the first phase of UP Assembly polls has been rescheduled to Feb 8. Earlier, the first phase of the poll were scheduled to take place on Feb 4.
