Kolkata Court rejects bail application of AMRI director

Agarwal had submitted the plea in the court of the South 24 Pargana's district court seeking bail on health ground, who is now admitted at the state-run SSKM hospital.
Meanwhile, court refused the bail plea of Agarwal saying he is needed to be kept in custody for the purpose of the investigation.
Six other directors and two management staff are already behind bars in connection with the last year Dec 9 fire tragedy. The accused have been charged with culpable homicide not amounting to murder and negligence.
Moreover, following the devastating fire, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has been cancelled the trade license of all AMRI hospitals in the city.
