Rats attack paralysed man in ICU, Raj Hosp takes LATE action

Rat
Jodhpur, Jan 12: Authorities of Mathura Das Mathur Hospital in Jodhpur, Rajasthan started taking action after rats attacked a paralysed man in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the hospital.

To prevent the entry of rodents like rats, the hospital authorities ordered to plug all holes in the hospital building. However, critics have already started asking - isn't it a late action taken by the hospital authorities?

Here it can be recalled that 70-year-old man was brutally attacked and nibbled by rats. The worse part is that the hospital staff was blissfully aware of the gruesome incident. His ears, nose, lips and cheeks were nibbled by rats leading to serious injuries.

Meanwhile, Union Health Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad slammed the hospital authorities stating, "We give money for the construction of hospitals but the day-to-day management and running is the responsibility of the state government. As a Central Minister, I can only sanction funds."
