Murder: Kerala female software engineer killed in Gurgaon

Gurgaon, Jan 12: A software engineer, who hailed from Kerala, was brutally killed in her flat in Gurgaon on Wednesday, Jan 10. Sinsi Sebastian was 23-year-old and was found dead with her throat slit.

Maheshwer Dayal, Deputy Commissioner of Police (East), Gurgaon, while speaking about the situation after finding the body, stated that Sinsi was found lying in a "pool of blood".

According to the police, Sinsi was staying in a rented house in the posh DLF City in Gurgaon with her female colleagues. On the day of her murder, eyewitnesses informed that three to four people were seen entering to Sinsi's house after her roomies left for office.

Many suspect that it was a case of robbery, though the police overruled any such concept as there were no reports that anything has been missing from the house since the day of her murder.
