BJP to formulate '3D approach' to tackle insurgency

Imphal, Jan 12: With major political parties offering goodies and making tall promises to voters keeping in mind the upcoming Assembly elections in 5 states, the BJP is the latest to jump into the bandwagon. BJP leader Prakash Javadekar has promised that it would effectively deal with the problem of insurgency if voted to power.

Speaking to media persons in Imphal, he said, “Our basic approach to the problem of insurgency here is three-fold, we have said it will be a 3D approach, deterrence, dialogue and development."

Javadekar also commented that his party would set up a special enquiry to investigate the corruption in the state. He said, “We will institute special enquiry into the corruption of last one decade and we will jail those guilty of loot of Manipur. We will put them behind the bars."
