UK: Gurdeep Hayer's body found in river Medlock

London, Jan 2: The Manchester Police has recovered the dead body of a 20-year-old man Gurdeep Hayer from river Medlock.

The Gurdeep's parents identified his dead body on Tuesday. He was missing since Jan 2. The Manchester police are conducting further probe into the case, officials claimed.

According to Manchester police official, search process was called off once the dead body was recovered from the river.

"There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding his death. A Home Office post-mortem is due to take place later this week," the police said.

Gurdeep was the student of Business Studies at Glyndwr University in north-east Wales. He was last seen leaving a nightclub in a taxi at around 2.15 am, clad in a navy blue polo shirt, black or blue jeans and trainers.
