Bangalore/New Delhi, Jan 10: In his maiden visit to India, Israel's foreign minister, Avigdor Lieberman informed that Jerusalem has received permission from New Delhi to open a new consulate in the IT capital of the nation - Bangalore.

After discussing the latent progress in the Indo-Israel business relationship with Indian Foreign Minister, SM Krishna, Lieberman hoped that the latest move by the governments of two countries will give a big push to the burgeoning Indo-Israel trade ties.

Lieberman has been quoted as saying, "It is a wonderful news coming at a time when the two countries are celebrating 20 years of establishment of diplomatic relations."

Representatives from Israel, who mostly work in offices situated in Bangalore, were excited after receiving the news stating that the move will definitely reduce extra expenditure and consuming of time.

Here it can be mentioned that this is not the first consulate that Israel is going to open in India but they have already been running their another consulate in the financial capital - Mumbai and embassy in the national capital - New Delhi.
