Sonia Gandhi gets threat email; cyber cafe seized

New Delhi, Jan 9: The Jharkhand police has detained three persons after threatening e-mails were reportedly sent from a cafe in Ranchi to Congress president Sonia Gandhi and Delhi Police Commissioner B K Gupta.

According to media reports, police has sealed the internet cafe and took the hard disks and data cards for further probe. Sources also revealed that, the raid was conducted after Delhi Police forwarded the mails for necessary action.

Meanwhile, special cyber crime cell has been investigating the matter. Cafe owner Vikrant Krishna said, he had been particularly careful while giving his systems on hire. "I check their personal I-cards and make them enter their particulars on the register."
