Punjab: 13-year-old boy raped by truck driver

Punjab, Jan 9: A 13-year-old boy was allegedly sodomised by a truck driver in Punjab on Saturday, Jan 7.

The victim, who works in a sweet shop had reportedly gone to attend nature's call in a public toilet when he was abducted by the driver and forced the boy into the truck.

The boy, however, managed to escape the spot and informed a home guard volunteer of Chandigarh police.

Meanwhile, the truck driver was nabbed by the passerby and colleagues of the victim. The accused has been sent to judicial custody and a case has been registered against him.
