Bhanwari Devi's son identifies her watch, earring

The CBI had recovered jewellery, body remains and a watch that belonged to Bhanwari from a canal near Jodhpur following which Bhanwari's son was called to identify the objects.
"He has identified the wrist watch and ear ring," confirmed a source.
Earlier one of the main accused in the crime, Kailash Jakhar had confessed to throwing Bhanwari's belongings into a canal. The CBI has also recovered clothes belonging to Jakhar, which has been sent to Central Scientific Forensic Laboratory (CFSL) for further investigation.
"Some pieces of the seats and cover have been taken by CFSL from this car," said a source after a team of forensic experts revisited the Scorpio in which Bhanwari's body was reportedly taken to Jaloda for disposal.
Sources reveal that the pieces will be tested for any blood remains on them.
Bhanwari Devi had gone missing from Bilara on Sept 1 after an alleged sex tape featuring her and sacked water resources minister, Mahipal Maderna surfaced. It was later found that she was murdered after she remained untraceable for a long time.
