Telugu film star Balakrishna set to join politics
{image-08-balakrishna news.oneindia.in}Vijayawada, Jan 8: The famous Telugu film star Nandamuri Balakrishna, son of Telugu Desam founder President NT Rama Rao has decided to contest the election in 2014.
"I will jump into the electoral battle in 2014, apart from campaigning for TDP in Andhra Pradesh," said Balakrishna.
The famous Telugu superstar acted in many hit films in his three decade long carrier in the film industry. He had campaigned for Telegu Desam Party when his father was at the power. Later he also campaigned for Chandrababu Naidu.
"Apart from campaigning for the party candidates, I will directly enter the electoral fray. I will contest from any place that the party decides," added Balaiah.
