Delhi: Married woman raped during job interview

New Delhi/Noida, Jan 8: Once again it has been proved that Delhi is not at all safe for girls. A 21-year-old married woman has been raped by two men during a job interview on Friday, Jan 6.

Police started investigation after receiving a formal complaint from the victim who is a resident of of Loni Road area in east Delhi on the same day. The woman has been taken for a medical check-up in a hospital and the doctors confirmed rape.

According to sources, the victim along with her sister-in-law reached Noida as her placement counsellor asked her to visit the venue to attend a job interview. Later the victim fell in the trap of the cruel persons who raped her on the pretext of giving her a job.

Police later said, "She was sent to Noida by a placement agency based at Shakarpur in east Delhi. We are still investigating and will nab the accused very soon."
