Anything for K'taka CM post: Yeddyurappa to join the Reddys?
According to sources, Yeddyurappa's men have been trying to get into good books of the former Karnataka minister, Janardhana Reddy and his loyal BJP MLAs since he (BSY) has started his battle against the top senior leaders in pursuing the CM post of Karnataka.
Earlier, Yeddyurappa sent two ministers including Shobha Karandlaje to Delhi to talk with the veteran BJP leaders and especially with LK Advani who, unfortunately, did not show enough interest to listen Yeddyurappa's demand.
Later Yeddyurappa invited the Bangalore City MLAs to his residence to win their trust that he (BSY) would clear all charges against him following which he was compelled to resign as CM and later was arrested and was sent to jail for 25 days.
However, Yeddyurappa was confident that he would be offered a suitable position at the "appropriate time", but his patience has worn out and said that he would wait till Jan 15 for the same. BSY also warned the central BJP leaders to start a state-wide political agitation after Jan 15 if his demands are not met.
Meanwhile, BSY also ruled out chances of a mid-term poll in the state and said that the BJP administration would complete its full term, ie till 2013.
