BJP backtracked, NO Poll-ticket to Maya's sacked BSP MLA

New Delhi, Jan 4: Putting an end to all speculations, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) finally announced that the party would not give poll-ticket to the sacked BSP MLA, Babu Singh Kushwaha.

BJP's decision came on Wednesday, Jan 4 when the sacked BSP MLA was raided following his alleged role in NRHM scam. Gold and almost Rs 1 crore has been found from his residence.

BJP faced stern criticism after their announcement that the party might give poll-tickets to Kushwaha who has been sacked by Mayawati over corruption allegations.

However, the BJP tried to put all blame on Congress while stating, "There is a deal between the BSP and the Congress. Rahul Gandhi and Digvijaya Singh are the leaders of the deal who are protecting the corrupt in the Central Government."

Meanwhile, Digvijay Singh also chided, "What is the deal Mr Naqvi is talking about? There is a deal between the BJP and the BSP. The BSP is only sacking the corrupt leaders after they looted the state for five years. The BSP should have filed a case against them."
