BJP should prepare model Lokpal Bill if voted to power

Jaipur, Jan 2: The BJP should prepare a model draft on Lokpal Bill and show commitment to pass it if it comes to power, party MP Ramdas Agrawal said here today.

"If the Lokpal bill is not passed during the UPA regime, BJP should prepare a model draft in which all important suggestions of political parties and social workers must be incorporated and it should be passed if the party forms government," he said. He will suggest his party leaders to contemplate moving in this direction and accused the UPA government of lacking will.

"It should be clear in public domain that we support a strong Lokpal. I will discuss my suggestion with my party leadership soon," he said. The Rajya Sabha member accused the UPA government of having no wish to bring back black money parked in foreign banks and wanted the government to make serious efforts for this.
