Battlefront ready for Anna - It is the MMRDA grounds, Mumbai

Mumbai, Dec 23: With the numerous flip flops regarding Anna Hazare's fast venue, the verdict is finally out. It has been decided that the MMRDA grounds will be the venue of the fast. After the concerns regarding the steep rent rates, the venue was given to India Against Corruption at subsidized rates.

With the matter decided by the Court, the Bombay High Court gave Team Anna the green signal to carry out the protest at the Bandra Kurla complex grounds.With many supporters and well wishers coming forward to pay the rent, the IAC also expressed their willingness to pay the rent.

The MMRDA grounds covers 30,000 sq metres and can accommodate as many as 1 lakh people.

Anna Hazare, meanwhile said, "We will ask people to give donations for fast venue." He also stated that people have approached him with money to pay for the fast venue. It is also understood that that Team Anna has paid an advance for the venue.
