Anna to visit poll bound states to campaign against Congress

New Delhi, Dec 21: Rejecting the government approved Lokpal bill, Anna Hazare on Wednesday, Dec 21 said that he will make an extensive tour to all 5 poll bound states to campaign against the Congress-led UPA government.

Meanwhile, the anti-corruption crusader is determined to continue with his three-day fast in Mumbai from Dec 27 followed by a three-day 'jail bharo' movement from Dec 30 as the government has not included the CBI and the lower bureaucracy under the ambit of Lokpal.

Describing Lokpal as a ‘path-breaking legislation’, Congress president Sonia Gandhi had said that Team Anna should accept the bill. She had also made it clear that the Congress party was ready for the fight over the Lokpal Bill.

Team Anna has raised the pitch by saying that the bill cleared by the Cabinet is not a strong one. One of the key members of Team Anna, Kiran Bedi said that "this kind of Lokpal be better not passed. Or else it will destroy whatever is left to CBI."
