'Raja allocated spectrum by TN's ration shop mechanism'

Achary has stood by his earlier comments under Section 164 of the CrPC at the 2G court. He stated that Kanimozhi was a frequent visitor at Raja's office during his tenure as IT Minister.
Mounting further ammunition against Raja, Achary said that Unitech's Sanjay Chandra and DB Group's Shahid Balwa and Vinod Goenka maintained a relationship with Raja during his tenure as environment minister.
Achary said that Sanjay Chandra, Shahid Balwa and Vinod Goenka met with Raja with regards to attaining environmental clearance for big real estate projects in which these companies were involved. He further added that Raja, Kanimozji, Shahid Balwa, Vinod Goenka and Sanjay Chandra were all part of the 2G conspiracy.
Achary has been quoted as saying, "A Raja allocated spectrum by Tamil Nadu's ration shop mechanism."
Achary had also identified Raja's signature in the letter to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh that backed the first-come, first-serve basis in the allocation of spectrum.
