Indore: RTO clerk found to own assets worth Rs 40 crore

Indore, Dec 19: A clerk who works with the State Road Transport Authority in Indore, Madhya Pradesh has been found to own property worth over Rs 40 crore after the Economics Offences Wing (EOW) raided his three residences on Sunday, Dec 19.

The officials raided the houses of Ramendra Dhuldho and found out that he owned properties worth over Rs 40 crore.

Dhuldhoi is said to own 49 biha land at different locations, a huge bunglow, four plots, a hotel, another house, said Manoj Singh, Superintendent of Police.

Apart from gold ornaments that weighed over one Kg and silver jewellery weighing Rs 4.5 kg were also recovered from him.

Dhuldho also is found to have five bank accounts and has made investments in life insurance policies and owns two 2-wheelers and four high-priced vehicles.

He alleged that he has been working as a government servant since 1996 and said his current salary is Rs 16,000.

A case has been registered against him under Prevention of Corruption Act, said the SP.

Earlier, Narendra Kumar Deshmukh, a peon by profession from Bhopal was found to have assets worth over Rs 10 crore following a raid from the Lokayukta.
