Bhanwari Devi case: CBI summons Maderna's wife

Jaipur, Dec 19: CBI on Monday summoned former Rajasthan Minister Mahipal Maderna's wife, Lila, in Bhanwari Devi missing case. Earlier also, CBI had interrogated Lila regarding Bhanwari's missing case.

CBI may arrest Congress MLA Malkhan Singh, after he failed to appear for the questioning. CBI had asked him for thrice but he failed to appear.

On Saturday, it was expected that Malkhan Singh Bishnoi will appear for the interrogation but he didn't.

In a shocking revelation, Bhanwari Devi's husband Amar Chand confessed to the CBI that he was a part in Bhanwari's abduction plot and the deal was made for Rs 10 lakh.

The agency claimed that Amar Chand Nat was misleading the investigators as he said that his car was to be repaired so he could not accompany Bhanwari Devi on the day she went missing.

Bhanwari Devi had gone missing since Sep 1. The CBI had seized some sex CD and videos where they found her in a compromising position along with sacked Rajasthan Congress minister Mahipal Maderna. She is also alleged to have had illicit relations with others politicians including Congress MLA Malkhan Singh.

CBI had already arrested Maderna and Singh's brother Parasram Bishnoi foover their involvement in the missing case.
