US President Obama bars daughters from using Facebook

The President who himself is a cyber space enthusiast and uses social media said that it does not make much sense" to put on display the private details of his family to the the public.
He further said that he did not want strangers to know about their family business, said a report in UK's tabloid Mail Online.
According to Obama he wouldn't allow his daughters to use the social networking site until they are four years older. His elder daughter Malia is 13-year-old while younger daughter Sasha is 10-year-old.
The step however, comes as a shock as it the President who encouraged youngsters to vote for him by using Facebook and other websites. He was even crowned as the 'First Social Media President'.
"Why would we want to have a whole bunch of people who we don't know knowing our business? That doesn't make much sense," the President had said in a interview.
"We'll see how they [his daughters] feel in four years," he said.
