Sreeramulu joins 'Yeddyurappa for CM' clamour

Sreeramulu
Bangalore, Dec 17: After BJP rebel candidate B Sreeramulu enjoyed a stunning victory in the Bellary by-polls as an independent candidate, the BJP was wary on what his next move is likely to be. After rumours started doing the rounds that he was ready to float his new party, Sreeramulu put all speculations to rest when he said that he supported the efforts by BJP MPs to reinstate former Karnataka CM BS Yeddyurappa to his former glory.

Sreeramulu commented that he was all for Yeddyurappa be made either the Chief Minister or the state BJP President. Speaking to reporters during his visit to Gadag after his by-election victory, he said, "I and my supporters fully support Yeddyurappa's reinstatement as Chief Minister. No one should be astonished if he becomes Chief Minister again."

Praising Yeddyurappa's achievements, Sreeramulu added, "Yeddyurappa is my political guru and there is nothing wrong if his supporters wants him back as Chief Minister."

He also stated that he did not have any intention to topple the BJP government and was confident that the BJP would complete its term.
