I have taken six Cabinet wickets, says Anna Hazare

Bangalore, Dec 17: Anna Hazare in Bangalore to garner support for his anti-corruption movement, took on government over the contention Lokpal Bill issue on Saturday, Dec 17.

While addressing the gatherings at Freedom Park, Bangalore, Hazare said, "I sleep in a small room in temple, with one plate and bed. I own no property but still I have taken six Cabinet wickets of corrupt ministers.

Hazare demanded to bring effective Lokpal or asked government to quit, "We don't need a government like this," he said.

Hazare slammed government's version of Lokpal calling it weak. He said that present bill is in bad shape and asked to draft a new bill. Furthermore, threatened launching of indefinet fast for Lokapl if not passed in this sessions of Parliament. And warned of protest before MPs houses of those who oppose Lokpal legislation in the House of ministers.

Commenting on PM Manmohan Singh, Hazare said, " Mr Singh is good a person, he is not corrupt, but he is controlled by remote control."
