Ailment left behind, Sonia Gandhi dances with tribal women

Mrs Gandhi's energy and rhythm of dancing proved that she has left all her worries about health condition behind. Recently, she has been seen active with public appearances which was lacking since her return from the US in Aug 2011.
Inspiring the tribal men and women, who came along to watch the Congress president delivering her speech on the development of the tribes and Naxals, Mrs Gandhi said, "Tribal areas are rich in minerals. But these resources should be used in a manner that does not destroy land belonging to tribals and does not snatch away their livelihood. Our central government is making such a law which will allow development of mineral resources and give its benefits to tribal communities and primacy to youth in employment."
Addressing the Naxal issue in the region, Mrs Gandhi also claimed, "We all know there is left-wing extremism in a number of districts with sizeable tribal population. We can defeat it by better implementation of rural development programmes."
Further, spreading awareness about UPA's flagship programme, Mrs Gandhi urged the women to start agitation if the programme is not being implemented in the region.
