Raj HC: Petition hearing on Bhanwari Devi case filmed

Jodhpur, Dec 16: The Rajasthan High Court on Thursday filmed the brief hearing which was held over the petition filed by Amar Chand Nat, Bhanwari's husband for production of his wife. Amar Chand was arrested by the CBI over his involvement in Bhanwari's abduction.

During the hearing, the CBI had updated the High Court over the progress in the ongoing investigation over Bhanwari's missing case. The next hearing would be held on January 10 next year.

However, the agency had filed two confidential reports before the court on Nov 11 and Nov 24 over the missing case.

Bhanwari Devi had gone missing since Sep 1. The CBI had seized some sex CD and videos where they found her in a compromising position along with sacked Rajasthan Congress minister Mahipal Maderna. She is also alleged to have had illicit relations with others politicians including Congress MLA Malkhan Singh.

CBI had already arrested Maderna and Singh's brother Parasram Bishnoi foover their involvement in the missing case.
