Guinness measures world's shortest living woman in India
Meanwhile, the Nagpur woman, Jyoti Amge took the title as she celebrated her 18th birthday, who is now shorter than the 22-year-old American who had held the title since Sept.
Amge, who is currently also the world's shortest teenager, wept with joy as she was presented with a certificate by Guinness authorities. Amge, who has a form of dwarfism called achondroplasia that has restricted her height to that of an average four-month-old baby girl, has just finished her high school exams.
The world's smallest woman wants to be a Bollywood actress in future. According to the Guinness statement, Amge has grown less than 1 centimeter (0.4 inch) in the last two years and will grow no more due to achondroplasia.
