Chennai: Bomb threat in TCS, 1,000 employees evacuated

People were scared following the bomb threat at the IT Park just outside the TCS training center. Many other IT companies are also there in the park.
Bomb squad has reached the place. According to sources, Chennai police along with other special teams have already started investigation to locate the bomb.
TCS issued a statement following the bomb scare that said, "Another tenant in the building that houses the TCS training facility at Ambattur, Chennai received a call threatening the safety of the facility on Friday morning. As the safety of our employees is paramount, we have evacuated all TCS trainees and faculty from the location in an orderly manner. The police and their specialist teams have taken control of the facility and are conducting their investigations into the incident. This incident will not have any impact on our business operations in Chennai as the facility was a training facility."
