Video hits net; Girls taking revenge, slap boy

Mumbai, Dec 15: Three girls allegedly slapped a boy and his girlfriend within the premise of DY Patil Medical College in Kohlapur, Maharashtra. The incident gained attention when the video (the girls slapping the boy) was uploaded in internet.

The 6:31 minute video, which was uploaded by someone in social networking site like Facebook and in Youtube, was rapidly shared mostly among fellow students. The video has got more than 63,000 hits since its was uploaded in Apr 2011.

In the video, the girls are slapping the boy in revenge for being insulted, humiliated and abused by the victim (the boy) and his other friends in public. One of the girls was seen as saying to the boy, "Since you talk about me with your girlfriend and other friends, please do the same in front of me."

However, the college authorities overruled such news occurred in their college canteen, though claimed, "We haven't heard of this video being uploaded ever as no student has complained about it to us. We will surely look into the matter."

The video has received several comments praising the girls, who apparently took the revenge on the man who allegedly harassed them.
