Dikshit discharged from hospital

New Delhi, Dec 12: Delhi Chief Minister, Sheila Dikshit has been discharged from a private hospital on Monday, Dec 12. She was admitted in the hospital a week back following high fever and viral infection. A close aide of Dikshit said she has "completely recovered" from the illness and is feeling much better now.

73-year-old Dikshit was admitted to Escorts Hospital on Monday last with complaint of viral infection and persistent high fever.

Dikshit had carried out her official work from the hospital bed and even held an hour-long Cabinet meeting on Wednesday where several key decisions were taken. A number of her Cabinet colleagues and several well wishers greeted Dikshit today after release from the hospital.
