2003 Mumbai blast verdict deferred

Mumbai Blast
Mumbai, Dec 12: Eight years after the twin blasts that killed 57 people at iconic Gateway of India and Zaveri Bazaar in Mumbai, the Bombay High Court on Monday has deferred its verdict on the fate of three LeT activists who were involved in the 2003 Mumbai blast.

The new date for the verdict has not been fixed yet. Division bench of Justices AM Khanvilkar and PD Kode had concluded its argument at a special hearing by deferring the case for next week.

POTA court had arrested Ashrat Ansari, Hanif Sayed Anees and his wife Fehmida Sayed after they were found guilty for planting powerful bombs in two taxis which exploded at Mumbai Gateway of India and Zaveri Bazaar.
