Fast for Lokpal: Even Gandhiji supports Anna Hazare

New Delhi, Dec 11: Anna Hazare reached Raj Ghat before resuming his one-day-long fast for Lokpal at Jantar Mantar on Sunday, Dec 11. It seems that Mahatma Gandhi is one of those people whose blessing and support inspire Anna to lead the country for a battle against the government.

Anna always visits Raj Ghat, before starting his fast. Last time when Anna's fast was scheduled to be started at the Jai Prakash Narain Park on Aug 16, 2011, he had visited Raj Ghat and meditated there for a long time.

Anna has been accompanied by one of his crucial team members, Kiran Bedi who from her personal Twitter account tweeted, "Anna now at Rajghat. Anna is determined to ensure he does all he can to secure an effective lokpal for the country."

Visitors and supporters of Anna reached Raj Ghat before Anna and witnessed how the Gandhian anti-graft crusader paid tribute to Mahatma Gandhi.

Police sources assured of providing full security to Anna and others who will accompany the Gandhian at Jantar Manatar. 400 CRPF & 200 local policemen have been deployed in and around Jantar Mantar on Sunday.

Anna invited and urged the countrymen including all political leaders from all parties for an open debate on the Lokpal issue. Anna's supporters will hold fast across the nation in Pune, Chennai, Bangalore and Mumbai and seven other countries.
