Kanimozhi likely to attend 2G scam hearing

New Delhi, Dec 7: The Patiala House court is scheduled to resume the hearing on 2G spectrum allocation scam on Wednesday (today).

Reports say that Kanimozhi is likely to attend the hearing today. After her release from the Tihar jail, she had returned to her hometown, Chennai.

Reacting on the 2G scam charges, kanimozhi said, "I have to prove my innocence and face the case legally and get out of it. I am confident of doing this."

Cineyug founder Karim Morani, Kusegaon directors Asif Balwa, Rajeev Agarwal, Kalaignar TV's MD Sharath Kumar, who were all accused in 2G scam, were granted bail.

Kani has been accused allowing Kalaignar TV in Chennai to serve as the resting place for Rs 214-crore bribe which was sent to Mr Raja by Swan Telecom.

Kanimozhi assured that she will not quit her political career as her father has brought her to this field.

CBI arrested her on May 20 this year along with four others in one of the biggest scams the country has seen. On Nov 28, Delhi High court granted bail to all the accused.
