Kerala Film industry holds Candle light protest
The candelight protest, held near the Kerala High Court on Monday night, saw the participation of among others actors Suresh Gopi, Dileep, Mukesh, Innocent, film directors Kamal and B Unnikrishnan besides Hibi Eden, MLA.
The participants took an oath extending full support of the Malayalam film industry for the dam issue.
The protest was organised by various film industry related bodies like Association of Malayalam Movie Artists Association, Film Employees Federation of Kerala and Kerala Film Distributors Association.
Malayalam superstars Mammootty and Mohanlal could not make it to the event, but they have lent their support, industry sources said.
